Neymar's brain on auto-pilot - Japan neurologists

Training Brazilian national team before the match against Croatia at the FIFA World Cup 2014-06-11.jpgNeymar da Silva Santos Júnior ; born 5 February 1992, commonly known as Neymar or Neymar Jr., is a Brazilian footballer who plays for FC Barcelona in Spain and the Brazilian national team as a forward or winger.

At the age of 19, Neymar won the 2011 South American Footballer of the Year award, after coming third in 2010. He followed this up by winning it again in 2012. In 2011 Neymar received nominations for the FIFA Ballon d'Or, where he came 10th, and the FIFA Puskás Award for Goal of the Year, which he won. He is known for his acceleration, speed, dribbling, finishing and ability with both feet. His playing style has earned him critical acclaim, with fans, media and former players drawing comparison to former Brazil forward Pelé, who has called Neymar "an excellent player", while Ronaldinho has stated "he will be the best in the wo

Tokyo (AFP) - Brazilian superstar Neymar's brain activity while dancing past opponents is less than 10 percent the level of amateur players, suggesting he plays as if on auto-pilot, according to Japanese neurologists.
Results of brain scans conducted on Neymar in February this year indicated minimal cerebral function when he rotated his ankle and point to the Barcelona striker's wizardry being uncannily natural.
"From MRI images we discovered Neymar's brain activity to be less than 10 percent of an amateur player," researcher Eiichi Naito told AFP on Friday.
"It is possible genetics is a factor, aided by the type of training he does."
The findings were published in the Swiss journal Frontiers in Human Neuroscience following a series of motor skills tests carried out on the 22-year-old Neymar and several other athletes in Barcelona in February this year.
Three Spanish second-division footballers and two top-level swimmers were also subjected to the same tests, added Naito of Japan's National Institute of Information and Communications Technology.
Naito concluded in his paper that the test results "provide valuable evidence that the football brain of Neymar recruits very limited neural resources in the motor-cortical foot regions during foot movements".
Asked whether Neymar's Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi or Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo might display similar test results, Naito said: "It is fair to assume they would show similar levels given their footwork and technique."
Naito told Japan's Mainichi Shimbun newspaper: "Reduced brain activity means less burden which allows (the player) to perform many complex movements at once. We believe this gives him the ability to execute his various shimmies."Neymar at the double against Cameroon
Neymar carried the hopes of host nation Brazil on his shoulders at the recently ended World Cup but his involvement ended in tears as he fractured a vertebra in the 2-1 quarter-final victory over Colombia.
Without their talisman, who had scored four goals in the tournament, Brazil suffered their most humiliating defeat ever when they were pulverised 7-1 by eventual champions Germany in the semi-final.

how to crack wi-fi-passwords for beginners

An internet connection has become a basic necessity in our modern lives. Wireless hotspots (commonly known as Wi-Fi) can be found everywhere!
If you have a PC with a wireless network card, then you must have seen many networks around you. Sadly most of these networks are secured with a network security key.
Have you ever wanted to use one of these networks? You must have desperately wanted to check your mail when you shifted to your new house. The hardest time in your life is when your internet connection is down.
Cracking those Wi-Fi passwords is your answer to temporary internet access. This is a comprehensive guide which will teach even complete beginners how to crack WEP encrypted networks, easily.
If it's WPA2-PSK passwords you need to crack, you can use aircrack-ng or coWPAtty.

Table of Contents

  1. How are wireless networks secured?
  2. What you'll need
  3. Setting up CommView for Wi-Fi
  4. Selecting the target network and capturing packets
  5. Waiting...
  6. Now the interesting part... CRACKING!
  7. Are you a visual learner?

Step 1: How Are Wireless Networks Secured?

In a secured wireless connection, internet data is sent in the form of encrypted packets. These packets are encrypted with network security keys. If you somehow manage to get hold of the key for a particular wireless network you virtually have access to the wireless internet connection.
Broadly speaking, there are two main types of encryptions used.

WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy)

This is the most basic form of encryption. This has become an unsafe option as it is vulnerable and can be cracked with relative ease. Although this is the case many people still use this encryption.

WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access)

This is the more secure alternative. Efficient cracking of the passphrase of such a network requires the use of a wordlist with the common passwords. In other words you use the old-fashioned method of trial and error to gain access. Variations include WPA-2 which is the most secure encryption alternative till date. Although this can also be cracked using a wordlist if the password is common, this is virtually uncrackable with a strong password. That is, unless the WPA PIN is still enabled (as is the default on many routers).
Hacking WEP passwords is relatively fast, so we'll focus on how to crack them for this guide. If the only networks around you use WPA passwords, you'll want to follow this guide on how to crack WPA Wi-Fi passwords instead.

Step 2: What You'll Need

This is by far the biggest requirement. The wireless card of your computer has to be compatible with the software CommVIew. This ensures that the wireless card can go into monitor mode which is essential for capturing packets. Click here to check if your wireless card is compatible
  • CommView for Wi-Fi :
This software will be used to capture the packets from the desired network adapter. Click here to download the software from their website.
After capturing the packets this software does the actual cracking. Click here to download the software from their website.
  • A little patience is vital!!

Step 3: Setting Up CommView for Wi-Fi

  • Download the zip file of CommView for Wi-Fi from the website. Extract the file and run setup.exe to install CommView for Wi-Fi. When CommView opens for the first time it has a driver installation guide. Follow the prompts to install the driver for your wireless card.
  • Run CommView for Wi-Fi.
  • Click the play icon on the top left of the application window.
Start scanning for wireless networks.
CommView now starts scanning for wireless networks channel by channel. After a few minutes you will have a long list of wireless networks with their security type and signal. Now it is time to choose your target network.

Step 4: Selecting the Target Network and Capturing Packets

A few things to keep in mind before choosing the target wireless network:
  • This tutorial is only for WEP encrypted networks, so make sure you select a network with WEP next to its name. If you need to crack a WPA encrypted network, follow this tutorial instead.
  • Choose a network with the highest signal.
  • Each network will have its details in the right column.
  • Make sure the WEP network you are choosing has the lowest dB (decibel) value.
Once you have chosen your target network, select it and click Capture to start capturing packets from the desired channel.
Now you might notice that packets are being captured from all the networks in the particular channel. To capture packets only from the desired network follow the given steps.
  • Right click the desired network and click on copy MAC Address.
  • Switch to the Rules tab on the top.
  • On the left hand side choose MAC Addresses.
  • Enable MAC Address rules.
  • For 'Action' select 'capture' and for 'Add record' select 'both'.
  • Now paste the mac address copied earlier in the box below.
We need to capture only data packets for cracking. So, select D on the bar at the top of the window and deselect M (Management packets) and C (Control packets).
Now you have to save the packets so that they can be cracked later. To do this:
  • Go to the logging tab on top and enable auto saving.
  • Set Maximum Directory Size to 2000.
  • Set Average Log File Size to 20.

Step 5: Waiting...

Now the boring part- WAITING!
NOTE: The amount of time taken to capture enough data packets depends on the signal and the networks usage. The minimum number of packets you should capture should be 100,000 for a decent signal.
After you think you have enough packets (at least 100,000 packets), you'll need to export them.
  • Go to the log tab and click on concatenate logs.
  • Select all the logs that have been saved.
  • Do not close CommView for Wi-Fi.
  • Now navigate to the folder where the concatenated logs have been saved.
  • Open the log file.
  • Select File- Export -Wire shark tcpdump format and choose any suitable destination.
  • This will save the logs with a .cap extension to that location.

Step 6: Now the Interesting Part... CRACKING!

  • Download Aircrack-ng and extract the zip file.
  • Open the folder and navigate to 'bin'.
  • Run Aircrack-ng GUI.
  • Choose WEP.
  • Open your .cap file that you had saved earlier.
  • Click Launch.
  • In the command prompt type in the index number of your target wireless network.
  • Wait for a while. If everything goes fine, the wireless key will be shown.
You may also receive a request to try with more packets. In this case wait until more packets have been captured and repeat the steps to be performed after capturing packets.
BEST OF LUCK!

Step 7: Are You a Visual Learner?

Woman Caught When She Posts Stolen Dress Selfie on Instagram

A 27-year-old Illinois woman who was accused of stealing several items from a clothing store was busted after she posted pictures of herself in a shoplifted dress on Facebook. Photo: Danielle Sexton Facebook/GawkerDanielle Sexton reportedly swiped a multicolored leopard print dress with a black waistband from Morties, a store in her native West Frankfort. After the owner's son, Kert Williams, posted a note about the theft and a description of the woman on his Facebook page, people quickly began pointing him toward Sexton's selfie, which she had just set as her new profile pic. Williams passed the information along to the police, who arrested her.
"I was pulling up to the front door and I saw a girl running out of the store with stuff in her hand," Williams, who manages the store, tells Yahoo Shine. He was immediately concerned, watched the store's security camera footage, and checked with other nearby shops to see if anybody had spotted her. "She'd also taken from a consignment store down the street from us," he alleges
Williams credits the close-knit community in West Frankfort for catchng Sexton so quickly. People sent him screenshots of Sexton's Facebook page, while others reported that they'd seen her walking around town in the distinctive dress they recognized from Morties. Even some of the police who helped nab Sexton were pals of Williams's on social media. "We just had a description and a direction of travel, but when the social media aspect played into it, we were able to identify who it was. And by looking at the background of the photograph we were able to pinpoint where she was at," police chief Shawn Talluto told local news channel WSIL.
"It's almost too good to be true," Williams says about how Sexton was nabbed. He reports that Sexton also made off with a shirt, some jewelry, and a pair of sunglasses. Instead of lying low after her shoplifting spree, Sexton put the dress on immediately, posted pics online, and went out. "She came in here at three, she was arrested by six, she was in jail by nine," Williams adds. Police also discovered that Sexton had an outstanding warrant for an arrest in another county.
For Williams, the whole situation is an example of how public embarrassment can help deter crime. "Everybody laughed about it a little bit because she got herself caught. She put herself out there." And now, her face has been splashed all over the place as a warning to future criminals who just can't curb their selfie addiction.
